*Siblings of class age registering will receive 50 percent off one registration. 

*Siblings over 1 year old age not eligible for a class due to age may attend at half price.  Please include their name on the registration form.  (One year of age and under can come for free.)

Music Class for Children ages 2-3

Music, Mom, and Me…Moving, Singing, and Creativity!

Taught by Lissa McKinnis*

WHAT:  Weekly half-hour music class for children ages 2-3

Children, with parental guidance and participation, will sing, dance, move, and create using songs, games and dances, and dramatizations.

 WHEN:  Mondays, 5:15-5:45 pm Feb. 14-April 11 (10 wks.)

April 18 will be reserved as a make-up day in case weather or other extenuating circumstances require class to be cancelled.  The final class will be a sharing session where children will share some of what we have learned with family and friends.  This will occur on April 11 unless the make-up day must be utilized; then it will be on April 18^th.

WHERE:  West Lafayette Christian Church

WLCC is located at 1980 Lindberg Rd. in West Lafayette..

HOW MUCH:    $100.00 per child

Payment is due at the first session.   

*Lissa McKinnis has a bachelor’s degree in music education.  She has taught K-5 music for TSC for seven years.  She has had training in the Orff method, which focuses on improvisation and movement in music.  Recently, she has taken a leave from teaching in the public school to care for her own children.

Week Four:  Circus:  I’ve Got Friends in the Circus, The Circus, Animal Crackers

Week Five:  Friendship:  Good Friends Always Stick Together, The More We Get Together dance, Make New Friends

Week Six:  Outside Fun:  What Shall We Do?, Goin On A Picnic, Let’s Go Fishin game

Week Seven:  Transportation:  Get On Board, Take Me Ridin in the Car, Engine Engine

Music Class for Children ages 4-5

Music Moves Me!

Taught by Lissa McKinnis*

WHAT:  Weekly half-hour music class for children ages 4-5

Children will sing, dance, move, and create using songs, games and dances, and dramatizations. Children will also prepare for a short program to be shared with parents at the final class.   

WHEN:  Mondays, 5:45-6:15 pm Feb. 14-April 11 (10 wks.)
